so yeah, yesterday i took up the prometric examination, a qualifying exam for Qatar to work as a professional Nurse in there state and in Jesus name, i passed the examination. I didn't know what i did to deserve all the best in life. Many of my colleagues who also took up the test said it was easy. But honestly, it wasn't. Ang hirap nya. that's why I'm very thankful i passed the exam.
Unlike here in the Philippines, You must take the exam first before you can register in Qatar. So when will I register. i dont know yet? what i know is that at least i got the step one and it is valid up until 3 years to process my registration to be a truly Qatar RN.
To those who also want to take the same exam, I just have one advise, Please familiarize yourself in reviewing with a computer- based questions. I reviewed my notes way back in college and when it came to the exam proper, i got anxious cause i am used of highlighting, underlining the words in test papers. Unlike in Saudi Prometric, SCHQ has a calculator below each questions so it would not be difficult for you to compute.
It was NCLEX type of questions, and halo-halo. When i was in the examination room and started answering I was like "Wala na to, bagsak na talaga ako, pano ko sasabihin sa mga magulang ko na bumagsak ako" cause with all humility mahirap talaga siya, Mahirap in a sense na all answers are kinda correct. So kahit gaano kadali ang questions kung ang mga sagot naman ay parang pareparehas, talagang mahihirapan ka.
ahay sana talaga matupad lahat ng mga pangarap ko this year. Salamat sa Panginoon!
